A communiqué from the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has substantiated Ghana as hosts of the CAF African Schools Football Championship, the 2025 edition. The event comes off from 21st April to 26th April, 2025.
University of Ghana’s Legon Sports Stadium in Accra will be the venue to host the finals, the first of kind to take place in any West African country.
Number Of Countries Representing CAF African Schools Football Championship
There are 46 countries in this tournament representing their national school teams. Winners from the CAF six Zones and the winning boys’ and girls’ teams from the 2023/24 Finals will automatically join the host Ghana for the Continental Finals.
CAF African Schools Football Championship Continental Prize
Whichever school wins this continental championship will be awarded USD 300, 000, the second place will receive USD 200, 000, and the third place will also get USD 150, 000.
