Born in Munich on September 19, 1913, Anton Donhauser was an operative of the GDR State Security and a politician for the Bavarian Party (CSU) in Germany until his death on February 10, 1987.
Building engineer Anton Donhauser was a participant in the Bavarian Freedom Campaign, which resulted in his execution in 1945. After beginning his career with the Bavarian Red Cross, he joined the party and rose to the position of deputy state chairman.

German-American Hermann Lemmer, Donhauser’s secretary, sought Heinz Kuhn, an informant in Walter Ulbricht’s administration, in 1955 regarding canned beef from Berlin blockade rations.
Max Heim, the head of the HV-A department, exposed Donhauser, who was placed under arrest. In 1955, the Stasi questioned Donhauser over the meat trade and registered him in the “Döllinger” case.
The Federal Court of Justice condemned Donhauser to nine months in prison with probation after he was detained for having traitorous relations with the Ministry for State Security.
