Chris Evans is an American actor who was born on June 13, 1981. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in the nearby town of Sudbury. His parents are Lisa (née Capuano) and Bob. His father, Bob is a dentist whereas his mother, Lisa (née Capuano) is an artistic director at the Concord Youth Theater.
The parents of Chris Evans divorced in 1999 but he has one brother and two sisters. The sisters of Chris Evans are Carly and Shanna and the actor, Scott Evans is his brother. Chris Evans and his siblings were raised as Catholics and the mayor of Somerville, Mike Capuano who served between 1990 and 1999 is their uncle.
He also served as a U.S. Representative from 1999 to 2019. When Chris Evans was a child, he enjoyed musical theater and also attended acting camp. He played the role of Randolph MacAfee in the musical Bye Bye Birdie. He had some classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute but graduated in 1999 from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.
The acting career of Chris Evans started off with the role he played in television series such as Opposite Sex in 2000. He also played roles in 2001’s Not Another Teen Movie, Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Chris Evans was named the “Sexiest Man Alive” by People magazine in 2022. He is currently engaged and married to Portuguese actress Alba Baptista. They got married on September 9, 2023, in a private at-home ceremony on Cape Cod in Massachusetts.
Alba Baptista was born on July 10, 1997, and her career started off when she played a role in the series Jardins Proibidos from 2014 to 2015 in Portugal.
She also starred in Portuguese series and films such as A Impostora, Filha da Lei, A Criação, and Jogo Duplo. Alba Baptista was also featured in the Netflix series Warrior Nun from 2020 to 2022.
Her mother is a Portuguese and her father is a Brazilian engineer from Rio de Janeiro. She had her education in Portugal but in a German school and it was at age 15 when she decided to become an actress.
