Mark Forster can be described as a German-Polish songwriter and television personality. Mark Forster’s father was born in Dortmund, Germany and his mother was born in Warsaw. In the early stages of the music career of Mark Forster, his mother called him Marek and he used the name Marek Cwiertnia.

Even though he grew up in Winnweiler, Kaiserslautern, he relocated to Berlin. While in Berlin, Mark Forster set forth his career as a singer, songwriter and pianist. He also composed jingles for television programs and he did that for the show titled Kromer-Die Internationale Show.
It must be emphasized between 2007 and 2010, he worked with, assisted and accompanied actor and comedian Kurt Kromer as a pianist sidekick. In 2006, Mark Forster joined the Balboa band.
He was also part of Kurt Kromer’s Krom De La Krom alongside Mitumba Lumbumba, who was a musician. He signed a deal in 2010 with a German record label known as Four Music.
Under Four Music, he released the Karton album in 2012. The album was produced by Ralf Christian Mayer and Sebastian Bohnisch. The album was recorded in Germany, France and Spain. In February 2012, Mark Forster together with Laith Al-Deen started touring in a bid to promote the album.
Mark Forster in November 2013 was featured in Sido’s hit song. Later, he also released the hit song Au Revoir and also featured Sido. Subsequently, he released the album, Bauch und Kopf in 2013. The album got certified as gold and one of the singles on the album won the Bundevision Song Contest 2015.
In the same year, he became the vocalist for the musical project Eff. Eff was made up of Forster as the vocalist and Felix Jaehn was represented in Eff as DJ and music producer.
Even though the music career of Mark Forster seemed to have dwindled, he got back on his feet. Subsequently, People With Money reported that Mark Forster was the highest-paid singer in the world.
People With Money noted that he raked in about $58 million between September 2022 and September 2023, a nearly $30 million lead over his closest competition
