Wolf Boneder was born on October 20, 1894, in Regensburg and lived until September 13 , 1977, in Bad Kissingen. It must be noted that Wolf Boneder was a German high jumper. Due to the role the German Empire played in the First World War, Wolf Boneder could not take part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris and 1920 in Antwerp.
No German athlete was invited to take part in the games. Records indicate that Wolf Boneder won 1928, when he won the championship title in 1928 when he was then 33 years old. As a result, he got the opportunity to participate in the Olympic Games held at Amsterdam. While at the Olympic Games held at Amsterdam, Wolf Boneder was ably assisted by the likes of Fritz Huhn and Fritz Köpke who accompanied him.
Wolf Boneder, Fritz Huhn and Fritz Köpke all recorded a jump of 1.83 m and as such qualified for the final. Even though Fritz Huhn and Fritz Köpke improved upon their performance, Wolf Boneder was only able to finish in the 16th position.
He recorded a personal best jump of 1.92 m on August 6, 1932, in Regensburg. Even when he was between the ages of 60 and 64, he managed to record a jump of over 1.60 m.
