Timothée Hal Chalamet, born on December 27, 1995, is an American and French actor known for his remarkable talent and versatile performances.
He has won various honours and nominations during his career, including an Academy Award nomination, three Golden Globe Award nominations, and three BAFTA Film Awards nominations.
Chalamet’s career as an actor began as a teenager in 2012 when he made his television debut in the drama series Homeland. He subsequently made his cinematic debut in the comedy-drama Men, Women, and Children in 2014, followed by a role in Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar.
His breakout performance in Luca Guadagnino’s coming-of-age film Call Me by Your Name in 2017 catapulted him to international recognition. His performance as a lovelorn adolescent won him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor.
