Priyanka Chopra is an Indian actress and producer who was born on July 18, 1982. She was born in Jamshedpur, Bihar and her parents are Ashok and Madhu Chopra. They were both in the Indian Army as physicians and due to their job, the family had to move and settle at different places in India.
They stayed in Delhi, Chandigarh, Ambala, Ladakh, Lucknow, Bareilly, and Pune. Priyanka Chopra got some education from La Martiniere Girls’ School in Lucknow and St. Maria Goretti College in Bareilly.
Priyanka Chopra was only thirteen years old, she left for the United States of America to stay with her aunt so that she could school. She studied Western classical music, and choral singing and while in Massachusetts, Priyanka Chopra also participated in several theatre productions.
While in the United States of America, Priyanka Chopra had some racial issues and subsequently returned to India after three years.
She won the Miss World 2000 pageant and in the film industry, she is one of the highest-paid actresses. Priyanka Chopra has two National Film Awards and five Filmfare Awards to her credit and in 2016, the Government of India honored her with the Padma Shri.
She was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2016 by Time and two years later, she was also named among World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. She made it into the BBC 100 Women list in 2022.
She made her debut in a film titled Thamizhan in 2002. A year later, she also starred in The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. Other movies she has been involved with include the following; Andaaz (2003), and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Aitraaz (2004), Krrish and Don (both 2006), Fashion (2008), Kaminey (2009), 7 Khoon Maaf (2011), Barfi! (2012), Mary Kom (2014), and Bajirao Mastani (2015).
Between 2015 and 2018, Priyanka Chopra starred in Quantico, becoming the first South Asian to headline an American network drama series. She is the founder of Purple Pebble Pictures and has the following films produced by the entity; Marathi films Ventilator (2016) and Paani (2019), and the Hindi biopic The Sky Is Pink (2019).
She has been involved with some Hollywood movies and these are Baywatch (2017), Isn’t It Romantic (2019), The White Tiger (2021), and The Matrix Resurrections (2021).

Priyanka Chopra’s father is Ashok Chopra. He was born on August 23, 1950, and died on June 10, 2013, after suffering from cancer. He was born in Delhi, India and he was a physician with the Indian Army.
He stands at 5 ft 1O inches and has black eyes. He was married to Madhu Chopra, and they had two children.
He attended the Armed Forces Medical College (A.F.M.C) and became a physician afterwards.
