Bella Ramsey is an English actor who was born in September 2003. She was born in Nottingham and had his secondary education via the online school King’s InterHigh.
It must be noted that Bella Ramsey started acting as a hobby when she was only four years old. She started acting through Stagecoach Theatre Arts. She is noted for her roles in the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones (2016–2019) and Ellie in the HBO drama series The Last of Us (2023–present).
She also featured in the 2017 CBBC series The Worst Witch as well as the 2022 comedy film Catherine Called Birdy. Bella Ramsey starred in the 2017 TV adaptation of The Worst Witch books and won the Young Performer award at the 2019 British Academy Children’s Awards.
She later left the series in 2020 due to issues about her mental health. Ramsey’s voice was used as the lead character of the 2018 Netflix original series Hilda. The series Hilda also sparked the singing talent of Bella Ramsey with the song Bella. The song was released on November 25, 2020.
Later in February 2021, Bella Ramsey was featured in the HBO adaptation of the 2013 video game The Last of Us alongside fellow Game of Thrones alumnus Pedro Pascal.
She also appeared in the lesbian horror short film Requiem. Some of the nominations earned by Bella Ramsey include Best Breakthrough Talent at the 2018 RTS North West Awards, Best Young Performer and Children’s Animation (shared with Luke Pearson, Stephanie Simpson, and Kurt Mueller) at the 2019 BAFTA Awards as well as Best Voice Performance at the 2020 British Animation Awards.
As a matter of fact, Bella Ramsey has been nominated in so many award schemes and she has won some awards.
