Nadine Krüger, who was born in East Berlin on June 26, 1977, is well-known on German television for her ability to present and her range as an actor. Her career path, which took her from competitive swimming to famous TV program presenting, demonstrates her dynamic and multifaceted personality.

Early Life and Education

Nadine Krüger started her schooling in Berlin-Reinickendorf’s Friedrich-Engels-Gymnasium, where she graduated from high school in 1997. However her love of the arts inspired her to investigate acting more. Krüger studied acting, taking seminars at New York City’s esteemed Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute among others.


In 1988, Krüger made her broadcast debut as Gerhard “Adi” Adolph’s assistant on the GDR kids’ sports show “Join in, imitate it, do it better.” She was unfortunately forced to quit the program owing to a growth spurt. She moderated the Offener Kanal Berlin while she was at school, and Sat. 1 subsequently found her through a casting.

Krüger joined VIVA after graduating and moved to Cologne, where she presented a variety of shows, such as “Film off,” “interactive,” and “jam.” She was the host of the ProSieben movie program “Cinema TV” from 1999 until 2001. During her time at Premiere, a pay-TV channel, she oversaw the movie magazine “Premiere Kino” from March 2002 to April 2006. Krüger replaced Jan Hahn and Annika Kipp on Sat.1 breakfast television in 2006 when they were on vacation or sick.

One significant point in Krüger’s career was her employment from January 2007 to March 2009 as a full-time presenter on Sat.1’s morning program. She collaborated with Annika Kipp at this time, and then Karen Heinrichs after that.

Andrea Ballschuh was replaced by Nadine Krüger as the presenter of ZDF’s magazine “Volle Kanne,” which debuted on May 4, 2009. She has become a popular character on the show thanks to her kind and captivating approach, which has connected with viewers throughout Germany.

Krüger had a short maternity leave break in mid-October 2011 and returned to “Volle Kanne” at the start of February 2013.
