Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, (PRESEC-Legon) is the most successful senior high school in the National Science And Maths Quiz. They have been crowned as champions for this competition six (6) times out of their ten (10) final appearances.
Structure Of The NSMQ Competition
Three (3) senior high schools compete in each contest. These schools are made up of exactly two contestants each.
Again, there are five (5) rounds in this competition. Round 1; is the round of basic questions from biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. Round 2; is known as the speed race. Round 3; is the problem of the day. Round 4; is a true or false section. Round 5; is the riddles section.
