Born in Amberg on March 13, 1921, Anton “Toni” Donhauser served as a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from 1974 to 1982. He was a politician for the CSU.

From 1927 to 1933, Donhauser attended Amberg Elementary School. From 1939 to 1939, he attended the German Advanced School in his hometown. He received training as a flight detectorist in the air intelligence force at the start of World War II.

After that, it was utilized in Russia, the Balkans, Berlin, and France. Donhauser finished a high school diploma program in Amberg for elementary school teachers in 1945–1946 after returning home.

After that, he taught in Massenricht from 1947 to 1951 before rising to the position of director of the school district. He began serving as Ammersricht Primary and Secondary School’s principal in 1973.

Donhauser began attending CSU in 1963. He served as an honorary mayor of Amberg in 1970 after serving as a city councilor in 1966.

Donhauser served as an elected deputy from the Amberg Süd constituency in the Bavarian State Parliament from November 7, 1974, to October 10, 1982.

He served on the committee for cultural policy issues and the committee of inquiry to look into the execution of the state contract for the distribution of study places during the eighth (1974–1978) and ninth (1978–1982) election periods.

Donhauser also served on the state sports advisory board and the advisory board of the Bavarian State Center for Political Education.
