Who Is Tamina Kallert?

Tamina Kallert, born on June 24, 1974, in Freiburg im Breisgau, is a German journalist and television presenter.

She went to the Freiburg Waldorf school before seeking further education. She pursued her studies in history and English in Freiburg and Cologne after finishing high school. She loved travelling and learning about new cultures, which is why she spent time in the USA, Ukraine, and India.

Tamina Kallert is married to Swiss journalist Nik Niethammer and has been blessed with two children; a boy and a girl.

Nik Niethammer is a Swiss journalist who was born on February 8, 1962, in Solothurn.

He began his career as a reporter for the Tages-Anzeiger in Zurich’s economics department before moving on to work as a reporter for Schweizer Illustrierte and as a video journalist for TeleZüri.

Niethammer joined TeleZüri in 1995 and was soon appointed editor-in-chief, head of programming, and member of the management board. Later, in 1998, he joined Tele24 as a member of the management board and the programme director.

He joined Blick in 1999 and is now an editor-in-chief. From 2004 until 2007, Niethammer also served as Sat.1’s Head of Magazine.

Niethammer joined Schweizer Illustrierte as editor-in-chief in 2008, but he left the publication in 2011.

Later, in 2013, he took over as the station’s editor-in-chief before leaving. The editor-in-chief of the Swiss parenting publication Fritz+Fränzi since 2014 is Niethammer.
