One Dietrich Eckart, attacked Rudolf Steiner with the claim that he was a Jew. Subsequently, Adolf Hitler also attacked Rudolf Steiner in 1921.

Rudolf Steiner started becoming frail and sick in 1923 but still made time to lecture and event travel.

He held his last lecture in late September 1924 but died at Dornach on March 30, 1925. He died from highly unusual natural causes related to the shattering of his etheric body.

Rudolf Steiner worked as a private tutor. He lectured on history for the Berlin Arbeiterbildungsschule. He was the brain behind the 1907 essay on The Education of the Child.

In that book, he discussed the major phases of child development. He was invited to lecture by Emil Molt to his workers in 1919.

When Rudolf Steiner was alive, schools in Hamburg, Essen, The Hague and London were set up based on his educational principles. All over the world, there are more than 1000 Waldorf schools.
