Rolf Herricht was a German actor, comedian, musical and pop singer who lived between October 5 , 1927, in Magdeburg and August 23, 1981. It must be noted that Rolf Herricht was part of the comedian duo Herricht & Preil.
Rolf Herricht served as an anti-aircraft assistant during the Second World War. He subsequently had his secondary school diploma and then served as a prop master and stage manager at the Magdeburg Theater when he was eighteen years old.
Rolf Herricht also had training in acting at a local acting studio and worked at theaters in Salzwedel, Stendal, Staßfurt and Güstrow. He worked in Frankfurt (Oder) at the Kleist Theater as well. Rolf Herricht made a return to Magdeburg Theater and worked there from 957 to 1961.
He worked at the Metropol-Theater Berlin from 1964 and he subsequently became very popular after making appearances in over 50 DEFA film and television productions.
