Roland Kaiser was born on May 10, 1952. He was born in Berlin and for about five decades, he was quite active. Roland Kaiser grew up in Berlin and had a commercial apprenticeship. Subsequently, he became the head of the advertising wing of a Berlin car dealership.

He also organizes KAISERMANIA concerts in Dresden which have been successful for more than 20 years. His autobiography, Sunny Side, in October 2020 was ranked number one on the Spiegiel non-fiction bestseller list. His album, Perspectives, at the beginning of September 2022 got to number one in the German album charts for the first time in over 40 years.
Over the years, Roland Kaiser has been involved in charity work as he grew up as an orphan. He also got involved with organ donation due to the fact that at a point in time in his life, he nearly died due to a lung disease.
Since 2020, he has been a board member of the Solidarfonds Foundation NRW and also an ambassador for the Albert Schweitzer Children’s Villages and Family Works and the Children’s Hospice Central Germany Nordhausen since 2006.
He has also been involved with the Tom Wahlig Foundation, AtemWeg Foundation, the Foundation for Life of the DSO (German Organ Transplantation Foundation), as well as the Rudolf Pichlmayr Foundation.
