Michelle Hunziker Biography
Michelle Yvonne Hunziker, born on January 24, 1977, is a Swiss-Italian television presenter and former model.
She was born to a Dutch mother and a German-speaking Swiss father who was a hotel manager and painter in Sorengo, Lugano, in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland.
Hunziker attended elementary school in Ostermundigen, a Bern suburb in the German-speaking region of Switzerland, where she and her family later relocated.
Hunziker relocated to Milan with her mother and began her career in the fashion industry there. She developed as a fashion model and appeared in advertisements for prestigious companies like Armani, Rocco Barocco, and La Perla.
She rose to fame in Italy after becoming engaged to Eros Ramazzotti, an Italian musician, which made an Italian TV producer aware of her.
Hunziker launched her television career in 1996 by hosting the Rai Uno programme I cervelloni. She then hosted a number of other well-known Italian TV programmes, including Paperissima Sprint and Colpo di Fulmine.
She also appeared in films and television shows like La Forza dell’Amore and Alex l’Ariete, featuring Alberto Tomba.

In addition to her work in television, Hunziker published the English-language album Lole in 2006. In 2001, she won the Italian TV Oscar for “Discovery of the Year” after co-hosting Italian comedy programmes like Zelig and Scherzi a Parte.
She also had leading roles in popular Italian musicals like Cabaret and The Sound of Music.
She co-hosted the Sanremo Music Festival with Pierfrancesco Favino and Claudio Baglioni in 2018. She still hosts a number of TV programmes in Italy, such as All Together Now and Striscia la Notizia.
Hunziker has had two marriages. From 1998 to 2009, she married Eros Ramazzotti; the couple has a daughter named Aurora. She became engaged to Tomaso Trussardi in 2013; the couple has two daughters.
