Markus Soder was born on January 5, 1967. Markus Soder can be described as a German politician. He has been serving as Minister-President of Bavaria since 2018. He has been the leader of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria since 2019.
It must be noted Markus Soder was a CSU delegate to the Federal Convention and it was for the purpose of electing the President of Germany. He was the delegate in 1999, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2017 and 2022.
He was a member of the CDU/CSU delegation in the working group on health policy and he helped in negotiations to form a coalition government of the Christian Democrats (CDU) with the Bavarian (CSU) and the Free Democratic Party prior to the 2009 federal elections.
