Majid Michel is popularly known as an actor and television personality was born on 22^nd September,1980 at Cantonment in Accra, Ghana. His father is Lebanese and his mother is a Ghanaian. Majid has nine siblings and he grew up with them.

The popular actor had his basic education at St.Theresa’s Primary School in Accra. Afterwards, he went to Mfantsipim Senior High School in Accra. He happened to attend the school with Van Vicker who is also a well-known actor in the movie industry

While Majid Michel was very much involved in the theatre club and was an active member of Mfantsipim’s drama club. During his time there, he won the Best Actor Award in one of their performances in Cape Coast, Ghana.

After completing Senior High School, he moved on to acquire a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts at the University of Ghana.

Majid Michel began acting with the Ghanaian movie industry in the year 2000, and starred in “Things We Do For Love” which was a television series in those times. He came into the limelight after acting in this series.

Afterwards, he played a lead role in the film “Divine Love”. He starred in this movie with Jackie Appiah and Van Vicker.

Majid acted in the blockbuster movie “Agony of Christ” in 2008 and this put his name on the nomination list seven times at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

In 2009, Majid became famous in Nigeria after starring in Nollywood blockbuster movie “Silent Scandal” along with Genevive Nnaji.
