For the first time in history, nine Ghanaian internationals are featuring in the English Premier League, EPL. This comes after Antoine Semenyo, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Dede Ayew made moves to the English top flight in the 2023 winter transfer window.
Semenyo moved to Bournemouth on a 4.5-year deal from Championship side, Bristol City, for a fee of £10.5 million. Sulemana also sealed a Deadline Day from Stade Rennes to Southampton on a 4.5-year deal, for a fee of £22 million.

At the moment, Thomas Partey is the most expensive Premier League signing from Ghana. His move from Spanish giant club, Atletico Madrid cost Arsenal £45 million.
Jeffrey Schlupp, holds the record for the most appearances in the Premier League as a Ghanaian international. Also, Jordan Ayew holds the record of the most goals scored by a Ghanaian in the English top flight with not less than 30 goals to his name.
