Kiefer William Frederick Dempsey George Rufus Sutherland, known professionally as Kiefer Sutherland, is a Canadian actor and musician.

He was born on December 21, 1966, in London, England, to Canadian actor parents Donald Sutherland and Shirley Douglas. He has a twin sister named Rachel Sutherland.
