Karoline Herfurth received the  Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Actress in 2009 for her role as Lilli Richter in Caroline Link’s film A Year Ago in Winter. Karoline Herfurth’s appearance in  Perfume: The Story of a Murderer in 2006 marked her international debut and she also played the “Plum Girl” in Patrick Süskind’s best-selling novel Das Parfum.

Karoline Herfurth also featured in the Academy Award Best Picture nominee The Reader, alongside the likes of  Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes.
