Jaylen Brown is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on October 24, 1996.
Jaylen Brown has his education at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia and he helped his team in winning the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class 6A State Championship.
He helped the team win with two free throws within 0.6 seconds to give his team a 59–58 win. Jaylen Brown was a member of the USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team and he won a 2014 FIBA Americas Championship gold medal with the team.
Later in 2015, he got invited to play in the McDonald’s All-American Boys Game. Some of his accolades include Gatorade Georgia Boys Player of the Year, USA Today’s All-USA Georgia Player of the Year, Georgia’s Mr. Basketball, and the Class 6A Player of the Year.
On May 1, 2015, Jaylen Brown made up his mind to play for the Golden Bears at the University of California, Berkeley. His coach was Cuonzo Martin and he played longside Ivan Rabb. Jaylen Brown played for the California Golden Bears for a year.
He was later selected by the Celtics. Jaylen Brown helped the Celtics reach the 2022 NBA Finals. As a professional basketball player, Jaylen Brown sometimes plays as a shooting guard and small forward and he is a two-time NBA All-Star.
Scout and ESPN rated Jaylen Brown as a five-star recruit and he was also ranked the fourth best recruit behind Ben Simmons, Skal Labissière, and Brandon Ingram by 247Sports.
Jaylen Brown had further studies at Berkeley’s Cultural Studies of Sport in Education program while in college. He is quite fluent in Spanish and he intends to learn three more languages.

The parents of Jaylen Brown are Marselles Brown and Mechalle Brown. He has a brother who is called Quenton Brown.
Quenton Brown is a former football player and he is the only sibling of Jaylen Brown. Just like Jaylen Brown, Quenton Brown has a passion for sports.
He had a short stint with the Raiders. Quenton Brown has a degree in business administration from the University of North Texas. He graduated in 2015.
He had initially attended the University of Central Florida. He stands at 6 feet 4 inches. He was a project manager for the Universal Music Group but it lasted for just a year.
He became the Athlete Relations Coordinator at Playbooked. Quenton Brown manages 7uice apparel line and he is also the director of the 7uice Foundation.
