Zsolt Sandor Biography
Zsolt Sándor Cseke is a Romanian dancer, dance coach, and adjudicator who was born on January 13, 1988, in Salonta, Romania.
He is a member of Romania’s Hungarian minority and has achieved significant success in the world of dance.
Cseke began dancing in 2002 and has been competing in contests since 2006. He competed in individual standard events with his dancing partner in the early years of his career.
However, he has been dancing with Malika Dzumaev, representing the Green Gold Club Bremen, since the summer of 2015. They’ve had a great career, participating in the main group S-Latin, the highest German amateur starting class.
Cseke and his dance partner were members of the German federal squad, and their greatest placement in the DTV rankings came in January 2020, when they finished third.
They are also placed 13th in the World DanceSport Federation’s world rankings.
In addition to his competitive career, Cseke has appeared on the popular dance show Let’s Dance.
He participated in the 2021 live tour and was a participant in the show’s 15th season and Christmas special in 2022.
His dance partner for these seasons was Janin Ullmann, with whom he placed second in the season and twice in the special. His relay partner in the 16th season of Let’s Dance in 2023 was Julia Beautx, and they finished second.
Cseke has won multiple medals at WDSF Open and WDSF International Open competitions throughout his career.
Among his major accomplishments are first-place finishes at the 2013 WDSF International Open Latin in Zevenbergen, the 2014 WDSF World Open Latin in Thessaloniki, and the 2016 WDSF International Open Latin in Almere and Milan.
Cseke has won medals in a variety of ranking events and championships in addition to his competition triumphs.
He has finished second in ranking tournaments and DTV ranking tournaments in the Hgr. S-Latin category, and first in the DTV ranking tournament Hgr. S-Latin and North European Championship Adults Latin.
Cseke has also had notable professional accomplishments, finishing second in the Professional Super Grand Prix Latin in 2022, second in the European Championship Professional Division, and third in the World Championship PD Latin.
