Werner Koslowski can be described as a chef and he was born on April 2nd, 1959 in Gary/Indiana, USA.

He worked in the Restaurant Wastlhuber in Breitbrunn am Chiemsee (1 Michelin star) and in the Restaurant Dronningen in the service of His Royal Highness Olav of Norway after he had finished his  professional training as a chef.

He has also worked at Preysingkeller in Munich (1 Michelin star), Hotel Bachmair am See in Rottach-Egern  as well as a sous chef to the “La Cuisine” restaurant. He became the youngest star chef in Germany “La Vie”, one of the top ten restaurants in Munich.

Later in 1989, Werner Koslowski established his own restaurant, the Alpenhof in Frasdorf (Upper Bavaria). With “Koslowskis Restaurant & Bar”, he cooked up a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide, 2 gourmet points, a Gault Millau toque, 2 Aral wooden spoons, 2 Bertelsmann chefs, as well as 2 Varta diamonds and tip. It must be noted that since 2005, Werner Koslowski has served as a consultant so far as the catering trade in Germany is concerned .
