Merle Frohms, born on 28 January 1995, is a talented German professional footballer who has established herself as a prominent goalkeeper in the world of women’s football.

She is a current member of the German national team as well as VfL Wolfsburg in the Frauen-Bundesliga.

Young Frohms joined the Fortuna Celle boys’ team and started playing football. Talent scouts were drawn to her skills and abilities, and VfL Wolfsburg signed her in late 2010.
