Matze Knop was born on November 11, 1974, in Lippstadt and she can be described as a German comedian, presenter, singer, actor and impersonator .
His father worked as a youth coach for Borussia Lippstadt and others. The career of Matze Knop began when he trained as a radio editor at Radio Bielefeld.
He completed a degree course in degree in journalism at the University of Dortmund. Matze Knop in the late 1990s, became very popular for the several comedy songs he had on the German single charts.

Matze Knop was awarded the Kind-Award in 2005 and in 2008, he was also awarded the Sportbild-Award in the category “TV Favorites of the Year”.
