Lena Goeßling, born on 8 March 1986, is a former professional football player from Germany. She primarily played as a midfielder during her illustrious career.
Goeßling began her football career at the SV Löhne-Obernbeck, her home club. She later joined FC Gütersloh 2000, where she enjoyed great success and captured the German Under-17 title.
She joined Gütersloh for two seasons in the second Bundesliga before transferring to SC 07 Bad Neuenahr in the top level in 2006. Before confirming her transfer to VfL Wolfsburg for the 2011–12 season, she spent five years and 97 games with the team.
