Irina Rimes Biography
Irina Rimes is a Moldovan-Romanian singer-songwriter who has emerged as one of the leading music artists in Romania and Moldova in recent years.
She has won many fans all around the area with her distinctive flair and alluring voice. Along with her flourishing singing career, Rimes is one of the four coaches for the Romanian talent competition Vocea României.
On August 22, 1991, Rimes was born in the Florești District. Valentina and Fiodor Rîmeş’s youngest child, Vitali, is her younger brother.
Her father and her paternal grandmother, in particular, were instrumental in fostering her passion for music. Irina has pleasant memories of her grandma singing carols to them while she sat on the stove. Her grandmother was a member of a church choir.
