Iannone was born on August 9, 1989, and he is currently 34 years old. He is an Italian professional motorcycle racer. Between 2013 and 2019, Iannone participated and competed in the MotoGP World Championship.
It is important to note that he was a race winner in MotoGP, Moto2 as well as 125 cc World Championships.
He has been serving a four-year competition ban since December 2019.
He was initially given an 18-month. Iannone is keen on returning to racing in 2024. He has been contracted to race for satellite Ducati organization Team GoEleven in World Superbikes.
His first official test is expected to be at Jerez, Spain in either October or November of 2023. He won four races in 125 cx World Championship and he placed 7th in 2009. Subsequently, he made a move to the Moto2 World Championship in 2010. He moved up to MotoGP in 2013 with Pramac Racing.
Iannone moved from Pramac Racing to the Factory Ducati Team in 2015.
After triple MotoGP World Champion, Jorge Lorenzo made his move to Ducati, Iannone switched to Suzuki in 2017. It must be noted that he was born in the Adriatic coastal town of Vasto.
His interest in bikes started at a very early age with mini motors. Iannone has an elder brother.
During the 2010 Misano Circuit Moto2 race, Iannone had the nickname The Incredible Iannhulk. The name was written on the back of his helmet and it was inspired by the Incredible Hulk.
He also had the nickname Crazy Joe in 2011 and later in 2012, his nickname became The Maniac Joe. He also had the nickname Joe the Firefighter but subsequently, during the latter days of his career, The Maniac was his nickname.

Iannone has a famous pop star as his current girlfriend. She is Elodie and aged 32. Iannone and Elodie were seen at Valentino Rossi’s VR46 ranch. Elodie was initially in a relationship with Italian rapper, Marracash. As a matter of fact, Elodie is known to have dated well-known Italian influencers over the years.
