Gunther Babel can be described as a German politician. He was born on September 26, 1952 in Wassertrudingen. Gunther Babel was also a member of the Bavarian State Parliament right from 2003 to April 2008.
It must be noted that Gunther Babel completed elementary and vocational school and then after , he underwent agricultural apprenticeship. He also trained to become a technician and master craftsman.
Later on between 1976 and 1988, Gunther Babel also served as a technical teacher . He was deputy headmaster at the agricultural machinery school in Triesdorf beginning from 1988.
Gunther Babel joined the CSU in 1972 and later in 1990, he became a member of the Wassertrudingen City Council. He has been the CSU local chairman in Wassertrudingen beginning from 1995. Gunther Babel also served as a member of the CSU district executive committee in the Ansbach district.
Beginning from 1996, he became a member of the District Council of the Ansbach District and in 2002, he got elected as Second Mayor of Wassertrudingen. He entered the Bavarian State Parliament in 2003 and he served in the Committee for Health, Environment and Consumer Protection .
Gunther Babel also served as the first mayor of the city of Wassertrudingen from 2008 to 2018.
