Ginevra Elkann can be described as a London-born Italian film producer and director, heiress and socialite. Ginevra Elkann was born on September 24, 1979, and she is known to be a proud member of the Agnelli family.
She is also the granddaughter of Italian industrialist Gianni Agnelli. Ginevra Elkann was born in London to Margherita Agnelli and the French-Italian writer Alain Elkann. Princess and socialite Marella Agnelli and the industrialist Gianni Agnelli were the maternal grandparents of Ginevra Elkann.
Unfortunately, the parents of Ginevra Elkann divorced when she was quite young. She initially moved to Rio de Janeiro with her mother but later she relocated to Paris with her mother and stepfather, the Russian count Serge de Pahlen.
Ginevra Elkann attended and graduated from the American University of Paris. She served as the third assistant director on Bernardo Bertolucci’s 1998 film L’assedio. She was also the video assistant on Anthony Minghella’s The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999).
She had training in filmmaking at the London Film School (LFS), where she earned her master’s degree. Her LFS graduation film, the nine-minute Vado a messa (I Am Going to Mass) was screened in 2005 at the 62nd Venice International Film Festival.
Ginevra Elkann established the production company Caspian Films in 2009 and subsequently produced Frontier Blues, her debut feature film by Iranian director and fellow LFS graduate Babak Jalali.
Other works by Ginevra Elkann include White Shadow, directed by Noaz Deshe (2013), which won the Lion of the Future award at the 70th Venice International Film Festival; Chlorine, directed by Lamberto Sanfelice (2015), which premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival; and again with Jalali on his third feature Land, which premiered in the Panorama section at the 68th Berlin International Film Festival

Ginevra Elkann is known to have two older brothers. One of her brothers is John Elkann. John Elkann is the chairman of the Fiat group of companies. Her other brother is Lapo Elkann.
Marriage
Ginevra Elkann on April 25, 2009 got married to Count Giovanni Gaetani dell’Aquila d’Aragona. They got married in Marrakesh, Morocco in a Roman Catholic ceremony. She and her husband had two sons and a daughter;Giacomo (born 15 August 2009), Pietro (born 31 October 2012), and Marella (born 27 May 2014)
