After experiencing various stages in Hamburg, Achterberg returned to Berlin in 1910. He graced the Schillertheater, Kleines Theater, and Lessingtheater with his performances, establishing himself as a skilled and versatile actor.
Fritz Achterberg started a new phase of his career in 1912 when he made the switch to silent films. He first showed his versatility on silent cinema, when he was paired with characters that represented young heroes.
