Franck Ribéry was born on April 7, 1983, in Boulogne-sur-Mer, Pas-de-Calais. At the tender age of 2, Franck Ribéry suffered serious facial injuries due to a car accident in his hometown together with his family.
As a result of the accident, he had two long scars on the right side of his face and also had more than one hundred stitches.
In 2003, he worked as a construction worker with his father. Franck Ribéry is a French former professional player who played as a winger and he is seen to be very fast, tricky and an excellent dribbler.
The football career of Franck Ribéry started off at Conti Boulogne in 1989. However, after seven years at Conti Boulogne, he left to Lille.
He again left Lille after three years and in 1999, Ribéry joined US Boulogne. He spent two years at US Boulogne and another two years at Alès and Brest after which he moved to Ligue 1 club Metz in 2004.
Later in 2005, Franck Ribéry got the opportunity to win the Turkish Cup with Galatasaray. In a rather controversial manner, Franck Ribéry switched to Marseille in France where he played for two seasons.
He helped Marseille to reach the final of the Coupe de France in back-to-back seasons. Franck Ribéry became a player for German club Bayern Munich in 2007 and an amount of €25 million was involved in the move.
He won nine Bundesliga titles, six DFB-Pokal, one UEFA Champions League and one FIFA Club World Cup, and other titles with Bayern Munich and it is estimated that he won a total of 24 titles over twelve seasons.
Franck Ribéry was in contention for the 2013 FIFA Ballon d’Or alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. He left Bayern Munich in 2019 and later joined Italian side Fiorentina.
Franck Ribéry played for the French National in 81 games and also played two FIFA World Cups (2006 and 2010) and two UEFA European Championships (2008 and 2012).
He is a three-time winner of the French Player of the Year. He also won the German award of Footballer of the Year and was named as a member of UEFA Team of the Year.
In 2013, Franck Ribéry won the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award. Currently, he is the technical collaborator of the Italian Serie A club Salernitana.

Seïf el Islam Ribéry followed in 2011 . The fourth child of Franck Ribéry and Wahiba Ribery is Mohammed Ribéry who was born in 2015.
The last of the five kids of Franck Ribéry and Wahiba Ribery is Keltoum Chérifa Marie-Pierre Ribéry. Keltoum Chérifa Marie-Pierre Ribéry was born in 2019.
