David Parenzo’s First Wife. Full details

David Parenzo is a well-known Italian writer, radio host, and television presenter who was born in Padua, Italy, on February 14, 1976. Cesare Parenzo, a senator from the Kingdom of Italy and a lieutenant in Garibaldi’s army, is his great-grandson.

Education

David Parenzo completed his high school education at the “Concetto Marchesi” Classical High School in Padua. Subsequently, he enrolled at the University of Padua in the Faculty of Law but soon abandoned his university studies to pursue a career in journalism. He served as the secretary of the Youth Left in Padua during the late 1970s.

Career

He started his journalism career as a writer for a variety of magazines and newspapers, such as Il Mattino di Padua, Giuliano Ferrara’s Il Foglio, the UGEI periodical HaTikwa, and Liberazione. Remarkably, he worked for Liberazione as an editor under Sandro Curzi, where he oversaw the curation of a column called “Hamburger & Polenta: Stories from the Mythical Northeast” for a whole year. David Parenzo joined the Italian Journalists Association in March of 2005.

At the age of 22, David Parenzo made his television debut hosting the show “Everything You Wanted to Know About the Festival But Were Afraid to Ask” on Odeon TV. After that, he started working for Telelombardia, where he hosted programs like “Orario Continuato,” “Prima Serata,” “Iceberg,” and “Giudicate voi,” which featured discussions and guest interviews along with political and economic commentary.

Parenzo made his radio debut in 2010 when he cohosted “La Zanzara” on Radio 24 with Giuseppe Cruciani. With caustic sarcasm, he discussed current events and sometimes got into arguments with listeners or guests. During the broadcast, he avoided openly discussing sexual and sensual subjects. He was well-known for his impersonations of politicians and celebrities.

Parenzo and Giuseppe Cruciani tried to launch “Radio Belva,” an aggressive and sarcastic discussion program, on Rete 4 in October 2013. However, the broadcasts were halted following the first episode’s failure, which was marked by low viewership and a lot of profanity.

Parenzo co-hosted “In onda” with Tommaso Labate when he returned to LA7 in 2015. With the show’s high viewership, he was given the Sunday evening chat show “Fuori onda” to host alongside journalist Tommaso Labate starting in January 2016. He was the host of “L’aria d’estate” on LA7 in August 2016.

David Parenzo and Luca Telese have been hosting “In onda” again since July 2017. The years 2018, 2019, and 2020 have been confirmed for this hosting position. He also presented many episodes of “L’aria che tira,” taking over for Myrta Merlino, beginning in 2020.
