Charlotte Casiraghi Brothers and Sisters: Full Details

Charlotte Casiraghi can be described as a Monégasque model, socialite, writer, editor, equestrian, journalist, film producer, and humanitarian. She was born on August 3, 1986, and her parents are Caroline, Princess of Hanover, and Stefano Casiraghi, an Italian industrialist.

It must be noted that she is the eleventh in line to the throne of Monaco. Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, and American actress Grace Kelly are her maternal grandparents and she was named after Princess Charlotte, Duchess of Valentinois, her maternal great-grandmother.

Between ages 2 and 6, Charlotte Casiraghi attended Les Dames de Saint Maur and later moved to the  École de la République in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. She also attended the Lycée François-Couperin, Fontainebleau from 2000 to 2004.

She did extremely well in her baccalaureate exam in July 2004 and after passing, she enrolled for the hypokhâgne and khâgne course at the Lycée Fénelon, in St-Germain-des-Près, Paris, in the hope of entering the École normale supérieure (Paris).

She failed to make the list of candidates eligible to proceed to the oral exam after she took the written entrance exam for ENS in June 2006. She earned a License of License of Philosophy (B.A.) from the University of Paris IV: Paris-Sorbonne in 2007 and then had her internship at the publishing house of Robert Laffont[8] in Paris, and then later from October 2007 with the Sunday magazine supplement of The Independent newspaper of London.

Charlotte Casiraghi was born at the Princess Grace Hospital Centre in La Colle, Monaco and she has two brothers. Her two brothers are Andrea (b. 1984) and Pierre (b. 1987).

Charlotte Casiraghi’s father was killed in a boating accident. After the death of Stefano Casiraghi, Charlotte Casiraghi’s mother and the family moved to Midi village of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in France, so they could be out of the public domain.

Later in January 1999, Charlotte Casiraghi got a stepfather and two step brothers; Prince Ernst of Hanover and Prince Christian of Hanover. This was after her mother married  Ernst August, Prince of Hanover. Princess Alexandra of Hanover, Casiraghi’s half-sister, was born at a clinic in Vöcklabruck, Austria.

Charlotte Casiraghi was named number ten on a list of the world’s most eligible young women when she was just 16 years old and she was also selected by Vanity Fair as one of the International Best Dressed List of 2006.

She started dating stand-up comedian and actor Gad Elmaleh in December 2011 and had their son, Raphael on December 17, 2013. The relationship between Charlotte Casiraghi and Gad Elmaleh came to an end in June 2015.

She was reported to have gotten engaged to  Dimitri Rassam, the son of French actress Carole Bouquet. She gave birth on October 23, 2018, to a child called Balthazar and later on, she and Dimitri Rassam got married at the Prince’s Palace of Monaco on June 1, 2019
