Benjamin “BeBe” Winans is an American gospel and R&B singer, songwriter, producer and a radio host born on September 17, 1962. He is also an elder brother of Cece Winans and a member of the Winans Family.

He formed the gospel music duo, BeBe & Cece Winans in 1986 with his younger sister Cece Winans at a time where the Winans Family group was already in existence. As a duo they went on to win several awards, including three Grammy Awards, two NAACP Image Awards, 9 Dove Awards, etc.

He launched his solo career in the mid 1990s with his debut album, BeBe Winans in 1997. He has since followed it up with seven additional albums which includes; Need You (2019), Cherch (2007), My Christmas Prayer (2004), Live and Up Close (2002), etc.

Cece Winans second eldest brother, Ronald Winans died on June 17, 2005 in Detroit, Michigan at the age of 48. He died at Harper Hospital in Detroit due to heart complications.

His death came eight years after recovering from a heart attack in 1997.
