Roberto Vecchioni was an Italian singer-songwriter, lyricist, writer and poet. Roberto Vecchioni was born on June 25, 1943.
When he was active he won some of the most important awards and festivals in Italian music some of which include the Tenco Prize in 1983, the Festivalbar in 1992, the Sanremo Festival and the critics’ Mia Martini Prize in 2011.
He is also known to have won the 2013 Lunezia Antologia Award. He served as a teacher in various classical high schools in the provinces of Milan and Brescia from 1969 to 1999.
He married Irene Bozzi in 1973 and gave birth to Francesca, his first daughter. He divorced Irene Bozzi in 1981 and subsequently got married to Daria Colombo with whom he had three more children.
His children were Carolina, Arrigo (deceased in 2023) and Edoardo.
