Bonnie Tyler was born on June 8, 1951, and she is a Welsh singer. She was born to Glyndŵr Hopkins and Elsie Hopkins (née Lewis). Glyndŵr Hopkins was a coal miner and Elsie Hopkins (née Lewis) was a former homemaker. She grew up with her three sisters and two brothers. Concerning education, she attended Rhydhir Comprehensive School in Neath, Wales. However, she stopped school when she was 16 years old.

Bonnie Tyler is known for her distinctive husky voice and she became very popular when she released her 1977 album The World Starts Tonight. The album had singles such as “Lost in France” and “More Than a Lover”.
