Barbara Hahlweg was a German journalist and television presenter. She was born on November 29, 1969, and she is the host or moderator on ZDF. Barbara Halhweg was born to Dietmar Hahlweg, former mayor of Erlangen.

She graduated from Emmy-Noether-Gymnasium Erlanger in 1988 where she had her High school education. She also furthered her education and earned a Master’s degree in the field of Communication Sciences. She minored in Economics and Market and Advertising Psychology at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich.

It must also be noted that Barbara Hahlweg had a traineeship at ZDF and that was between 1996 and 1997. She then became an editor in the studio for Today beginning in 1998. She also moderated Today at Noon as well as the afternoon editions until the year 2003.

It is worth mentioning that Barbara Halhweg also worked in the capacity or position of an editor at Hallo Deutschland as well as a presenter at TOP 7 and until 2003 at Leute Today.

Between 2003 and 2007, she became the co-presenter of Meine-Journal alongside Klaus Peter Siegloch.
