Charles Joseph Scarborough popularly known as Joe is an American television host, attorney, political commentator, and former politician. He was born on April 9, 1963, and he hosts Morning Joe on MSNBC with his wife Mika Brzezinski.
He used to be the host of Scarborough Country on the same network and he is a former member of the Republican Party. It must be noted that Joe between 1995 and 2001, served in the United States House of Representatives for Florida’s 1st district.
He was a visiting fellow at the Harvard Institute of Politics at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and in 2011, he was named in the 2011 Time 100 as one of the most influential people in the world. He is the son of Mary Joanna (née Clark) and George Francis Scarborough, a businessman and he has two siblings.
With respect to education, he attended Pensacola Catholic High School in Pensacola. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Alabama in 1985 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida College of Law in 1990.
Mika Emilie Leonia Brzezinski Scarborough can be described as an American talk show host, political commentator, and author. She was born on May 2, 1967, and she used to be a correspondent for CBS News.
She was their principal “Ground Zero” reporter during the morning of the September 11 attacks. Later in 2007, she joined MSNBC as an occasional anchor. It must be noted Mika is the daughter of diplomat and political scientist Zbigniew Brzezinski.
His father served as a counselor to President Lyndon B. Johnson and as the National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter.
Are Joe and Mika Still Married
Charles Joseph Scarborough married Melanie Hinton in 1986 but they divorced in 1999. They had two sons. Later in October 2001, Charles Joseph Scarborough married his second wife, Susan Waren, a former aide to Florida governor Jeb Bush and also a former congressional committee staffer.
They had a son and daughter but divorced in January 2013. Charles Joseph Scarborough married Mika Emilie Leonia Brzezinski Scarborough on November 24, 2018, in Washington, D.C., in a ceremony officiated by U.S. Representative Elijah Cummings.
As of now, they are still married. Before marrying Charles Joseph Scarborough, Mika Emilie Leonia Brzezinski Scarborough was married to TV news reporter James Patrick Hoffer, now of WABC-TV and they had two daughters.
