Anna Karina Wojtczak was born on September 22, 1940 in Woitschack. She was a German puppet and singer. She could also be described as a Danish-French film actress, director, writer, model, and singer.

She won the  Silver Bear Award for Best Actress at the Berlin Film Festival for her role in  A Woman Is a Woman. She founded a production company to work on Vivre ensemble (1973) and the film was screened in the Critics’ Week lineup at the 26th Cannes Film Festival.
