Andre Segre’s father was called Ulderico and he was born in Venice. Ulderico was also raised in Venice but later, he moved to Padua with his family and that’s where Andrea Segre was born.

Andrea Segre’s father, Ulderico was a molecular scientist and an amateur film maker. His cinematic skills were like that of his skills in the lab.

Ulderico was known to be precise, geometric, and delicate in his work. He was a man of few words. He suffered a heart attack which eventually led to his death.
