Andrea Ferber is a Schlager singer from Germany. She is better known by his professional name, Andrea Berg. Her career as a well-known Schlager vocalist began when she was a young actress, entertaining crowds with skits at fairs and other celebrations.

Andrea Berg was born in Krefeld, Germany, on January 28, 1966. She went all in when it came to music, performing with a band, helping with backstage preparations, even driving the band’s van. In addition, Berg demonstrated her dedication to her musical goals and to providing compassionate care by working hard as a nurse in the hospital’s cancer and critical care units.

In 1992, Andrea Berg’s life took a transformative turn when she was discovered by the renowned record producer Eugen Römer. Impressed by her vocal prowess, Römer wasted no time in recording the first tracks for her debut studio album, “Du bist frei” (“You Are Free”). The album, released in the same year, marked the initiation of Berg’s musical career, featuring hit singles like “Kilimandscharo” (“Kilimandjaro”) and “Schau mir noch mal ins Gesicht” (“Look Me in the Face Once Again”).

When Andrea Berg’s third studio album, “Träume lügen nicht” (or “Dreams Don’t Lie”), was published in 1997, her rise to commercial success took off. The album had the number-one single “Warum nur träumen” (“Why Just Dream”) on the German album charts, reaching position 71.

Berg returned in 1998 with “Zwischen tausend Gefühlen” (“Between a Thousand Feelings”), her fourth album, which produced three hits, including “Diese Nacht soll nie enden” (“This Night Should Never End”). Berg had taken a temporary break after giving birth to her daughter.

Berg had a string of hit albums in the late 1990s and early 2000s, one of them being the compilation album “Best Of,” which was released in 2001 and became the biggest hit in the German and Austrian album charts, spending the most weeks there.

In a notable shift in 2010, Andrea Berg collaborated with producer Dieter Bohlen, ending her 17-year partnership with Eugen Römer. This collaboration marked a new era, starting with the album “Schwerelos” (“Weightless”), which achieved platinum status within six days and topped the German and Austrian album charts. Subsequent albums, including “Abenteuer” (“Adventure”), “Atlantis,” and “Seelenbeben” (“Soul Tremors”), continued to dominate the charts, attesting to Berg’s unwavering popularity.
