Anda Calugareanu was born on October 24, 1946, and was a Romanian actress and performer of light and folk music.
Anda Calugareanu was born in Bucharest and her parents are Traian and Elena Calugareanu. After the death of Anda Calugareanu’s father in 1957, her mother took the decision to have her and her sister stay with her maternal grandparents.
Her maternal grandparents lived in Ghencea and she had her primary, secondary and high school education there.
The grandparents of Anda Calugareanu died in 1965 and then she made her debut at the Sala Palatului in Bucharest.
Anda Calugareanu’s Death
Between 1971 and 1979, Anda Calugareanu was married to actor Dan Tufaru. They had a daughter together and she was called Alexandra -Ioana Tufaru.
The marriage between Anda Calugareanu and Tufaru did not work out well. She got married to Alexandru Medeleanu and they lived together between 1981 and 1992.
In March 1992, the health of Anda Calugareanu got bad. This was after she had returned from a tour in Israel.Anda calugareanu died on August 15, 1992. The cause of her death is unknown.
