Ajax Coach John Heitinga Ready To Make Mohammed Kudus Even Better

Ajax coach John Heitinga has lauded the in-form Mohammed Kudus following another Man of the Match performance in the win over RKC Waalwijk.

Mohammed Kudus scored as Ajax came from behind, a goal deficit to defeat Waawijk. This win has enabled Ajax to move closer to the league leaders Feyenoord on the eredivisie table. Ajax are three points behind Feyenoord after 21 games.

Obviously, the performance of Mohammed Kudus keeps intensifying after Heitinga took over as the team’s manager.

“We know he has exceptional qualities. It’s up to me and coaching staff to make him even better. Especially off the ball. With the ball he can dribble, create an overload, assist and score goals. I think we should be happy Kudus is playing at Ajax,” Heitinga said this after their 3-1 win over Waawijk.

Waalwijk begun the game very well as they scored the first goal in the 17th minute through Mats Seuntjens. Ajax then reacted in the second half through substitute Brian Brobbey. Jurrien Timber opened the scoring sheet for Ajax before Kudus sealed the victory with a sensational strike.

Mohammed Kudus has now scored eight goals in the Eredivisie this season.
