Who Is Aiman Abdallah?
Aiman Abdallah, born in 1965, is a well-known German television presenter of Egyptian descent, best known for his work on the popular German television show Galileo.
His achievements, however, extend beyond television, since he was a former German rugby national player.
Abdallah grew up in the picturesque town of Bad Kreuznach. He has always had a liking for sports, particularly rugby. He refined his talents and swiftly rose to prominence, winning a berth on the Berliner SV 1892 Rugby squad. His rugby experience taught him vital life lessons about teamwork, discipline, and tenacity.
Abdallah decided to pursue higher study in the field of computer science after completing his secondary education. From 1984 until 1991, he studied at the famous Technical University of Berlin. Abdallah discovered an opportunity to begin his career in the television sector while juggling his education.
He began working as a freelancer for ZDF, one of Germany’s biggest television networks, in 1987. This was the start of his adventure into the world of media.
Abdallah continued his freelancing work for ZDF while simultaneously working as a freelance editor for several production businesses. He also worked as a freelancer in the sports section of RIAS-TV, a Berlin-based television station.
His adaptability and commitment to his trade enabled him to gain excellent expertise in several aspects of the television industry.
Abdallah’s career took a huge step forward in 1993 when he was hired as a sports editor by Deutsche Welle, an international broadcaster. In addition to this employment, he was a sports presenter for Berlin’s prominent radio station, Kiss-FM.
