Early Life and Career
Diawusie started playing football with SV Fortuna Regensburg at the youth division. He was sent to the Jahn Regensburg academy when his on-field skills were rapidly noticed. next his 2014 signing with 1. FC Nürnberg’s under-17 squad, he scored nine goals in 22 league games over the next eighteen months thanks to his remarkable talents. RB Leipzig was drawn to this and signed him in the summer of 2015.
Diawusie was a star performer for RB Leipzig in the under-19 Bundesliga, making 48 appearances and scoring 19 goals in 48 games. He shown his early potential in 2016 by winning the Saxon Under-19 Cup with his squad. In 2017, he was granted a professional contract as a result of his achievements. He participated in the 3. Liga on loan with SV Wehen Wiesbaden during the 2017–18 season. Diawusie participated in 35 games during his first season, tallying four goals and eleven assists.
For the 2018–19 season, Diawusie moved to FC Ingolstadt 04 of the 2. Bundesliga. Even though he didn’t get much playing time, he had a significant impact when he went back on loan to SV Wehen Wiesbaden and helped the team be promoted to the 2. Bundesliga. His career continued when FC Ingolstadt 04 was demoted to the 3. Liga for the 2019–20 season.
In July 2020, Diawusie inks a two-year deal with Dynamo Dresden. His services were crucial to the team’s promotion to the 2. Bundesliga in the 2020–21 campaign. However, once Dynamo Dresden returned to the 3. Liga in 2021, Diawusie moved to the Austrian Bundesliga team SV Ried.
Diawusie moved for a brief period of time to SpVgg Bayreuth in January 2023, where he featured in 17 games and scored the team’s only goal. Despite Bayreuth’s relegation, Diawusie returned to his hometown of Jahn Regensburg in July 2023.
He was chosen to participate in the 2016 training camp for the Germany U19 squad, and he shown his abilities in a friendly match against the Czech Republic.
